Two Bays Tough Ten Challenge
The updated 10 mile course uses sections of beach in Weston Bay and Sand Bay, (closed) tarmac road along the seafront and coast, sections of promenade, woodland trails within Worlebury Woods, and the National Trust headland and trig point on Sand Point. In parts it is flat and fast; in others there are challenging climbs and long down hill sections. Most compete in ordinary running shoes. Plus a 1 mile Fun Run (min age 5 yrs). 11am Sunday 15th February. Details

Party On The Pier

Worle History Society Exhibition
A thousand years of Worle’s history. 28 display board tracing everything from the Domesday Book entry, population growth, schools, clubs, sport, carnivals, St. Martin’s Church, Methodist Chapel, tithe map. Pictures galore of the people of Worle down the years. Come along and have a good look. You’ll have time to sit at the research desk and look into your past and your ancestors. Puxton will hold its first lambing weekend of 2015 on January 24th and 25th, as part of its educational experiences. Children can get up close and personal by bottle feeding the lambs at selected times and listen to informative talks about how the park cares for its lambs on a day to day basis. Due to the popularity of the event, a second lambing weekend will take place from January 31st to February 1st.
