The Music Makers Academy presents two live music concerts on one day! The Afternoon Concert includes classical jazz and pop numbers on piano keyboard brass/woodwind/drums and vocals. Puxton ParkLambing Weekends!
Puxton Park has a happy little farm at the moment, with our lambs leaping all over the fields, and the cows busy with their calves. Come along and see our baby lambs and pregnant ewes. There will be a chance to hold and bottle feed the lambs, and if you are lucky enough you may even see one being born! To celebrate we’re hosting two early Lambing Weekends in January. Winter GardensMamma Mia Double Bill Sing Along Cinema
Come and blow off the Winter Blues with two great chick flicks! We’ll be showing both Mamma Mia and Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again on the huge Winter Gardens LED screen with the Reaper PA filling in the gaps with music right through until 1am! Doors open at 7.30pm, VIP food platters will be served at 8.00pm with the first film scheduled to start at 8.15pm and a short break before the 2nd with a disco through until close at 1am. 1st - 2nd February. Clevedon PierPorthole Presents – Uncle Bill (Britain’s forgotten Hero)
This presentation explores the life of Bristol-born soldier, Field Marshal, Viscount William ‘Bill’ Slim. Known affectionately as ‘Uncle Bill’ by his soldiers. Slim commanded the 14th ‘Forgotten’ Army in the bitterly fought Burma Campaign of WW2, recovering from the 1000-mile retreat from Burma to India, only to return 2-years later to defeat the Japanese in the steaming jungles of South East Asia. 27th January. 3pm.
