Fancy sipping a chilled cider whilst enjoying the sun and some fabulous entertainment? Well, who wouldn’t? The South Deck is the only place to be over the weekend of the 2nd and 3rd July. Thatchers and the Grand Pier have teamed up to bring you a delightful selection of sumptuous Somerset ciders, from sparkling to still and from cloudy to clear. 2nd - 3rd July. Details.

The Newt Festival is the largest of its kind in Somerset with over 100 Real Ales on sale each year as well as local cider, bottled beers, wines and of course a range of non alcoholic drinks. Great live music is played throughout the weekend with an average of 13 bands performing on stage in the main marquee. Make a weekend of it and enjoy the camping facilities. 8th & 9th July. Details

Yeovilton Air Day 2016Yeovilton Air Day 2016
Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton, Somerset will open its gates on Saturday 2nd July for the Royal Navy’s premier airshow. The Air Day, one of the Southwest’s largest one day events, will offer an action-packed day out for all the family with thrilling flying displays and plenty to see and do on the ground.  Over five hours of spectacular flying displays will include fast jets, historic warbirds, helicopters, formation display teams, aerobatics and will culminate with the world renowned Commando Assault Finale featuring troops, aircraft and pyrotechnics galore! 2nd July.
