Bridgwater Carnival
The Somerset County carnivals are one of the most spectacular events in Somerset today, and Bridgwater carnival regularly attracts crowds of 150,000. Please bear this in mind when you travel to a carnival. It is good to aim to arrive at least an hour before carnival is due to start. 1st November. Start - Bath Road , Bridgwater TA6 4PH
Puxton Bonfire Night
Come to Puxtons annual Bonfire event with spectacular fireworks! The park will be closing at 4.30pm  for normal trade and the doors will re-open at 5pm. Firing time is at 7.00pm. with lots of stalls and the 3 storey playbarn  will be open as well as an Inflatable Helter Skelter, Tombola, Pig roast,Burger Van, Test your strength Machine, Face Painting, Candy Floss, childrens rides and lots more... 1st November. Spooky Spectacular at SeaQuarium Weston
Join us from 25th October to 2nd November 2014 for witches, ghosts and eerie tales in our Spooky Spectacular event! Full of family fun, spooky shows, Halloween crafts and games, it is the perfect way to celebrate October half term and brighten up the spookiest of seasons! There will be a variety of spooky characters and ghostly figures telling eerie tales of the unexpected, and for the ultimate Spooky Spectacular everyone is encouraged to dress up and be prepared for some magical family fun. Grand Pier Half Marathon
The run will start on the Grand Pier where you will begin your 13.1 miles of “fun” and “exhaustion” by doing two laps of the flat (ish)all road/ tarmac route! Take a left turn and run all along the promenade until you reach the end of the prom (by Marine Lake) where you will be guided onto Knightstone Road and continue along Birnbeck Road and Kewstoke Road (all roads will be closed to road traffic) where you will turn-around at mile 2.5 and the first of many water/feed stations. 2nd November. Weston Super Mare Cricket Club Bonfire and Fireworks night
This year sees Weston super Mare cricket club host their Bonfire and Fireworks night. For many years many people in the town have regarded this event as the best on show, and one of the very few to also have a Bonfire as well as an amazing fireworks display. 1st November, with gates opening at 6pm.
