Locals and visitors alike will find that Weston Super Mare has so many great attractions on offer that you will be literally spoilt for choice, there is a fantastic array of events taking place during the coming months and we have listed just a few for you below.

Weston’s latest attraction the Wheel of Weston has a 40 metre wheel and 30 glass-sided observation pods. You will still find the Donkeys on Weston-super-Mare beach, voted the nation’s favourite seaside attraction.

July 24th- 26th will see the annual three day Helicopter Fly-in and fun spectacular along Weston Sea Front, plus a static display of Military and Civil helicopters plus a Military vehicle display.

The annual Sand Sculpture Festival runs from 4th July through till September at The Beach, Weston seafront.
 
Weston Super Mare has the only aquarium in the area and well worth a visit.

North Somerset museum, a small and interesting attraction, one of this years displays is the Peggy Nisbet dolls: Porcelain, Vinyl, Wood and Wax from collector Christine Poulten, this year’s selection features some of the less well known dolls, made using a variety of manufacturing processes.

Nearby there is an array of fantastic family activities with Brean Leisure Park, and 2 of Somerset’s top award winning farm attractions Puxton Park and Court Farm Country Park.

Just a short drive away in Bristol you will find the only Ice skating rink and hands on science experience centre.

Weston also plays host to the fantastic Channel 4 T4 on the Beach which is held on the 19th July on Weston beach with performances from top bands and stars from the world.

Last but not least there is the annual beach race in October and then the start of the Somerset famous Carnival season.
