Balloon Flights over Bristol and Bath

Bailey Balloons offer a large and wonderful selection of memorable balloon flight experiences - to find out more, buy vouchers or book a flight visitwww.baileyballoons.co.uk

As experienced balloonists, Jo and Clive Bailey specialise in offering a personal and safe approach to your balloon flight. Bailey Balloons usually fly small groups and will tailor your flight to ensure your experience is both unique and memorable. If required, larger numbers can comfortably be catered for.

Jo and Clive have flown balloons all over Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Every January they fly in the Swiss Alps and have set a height record above the Bristol Balloon Fiesta in aid of a cancer charity. All this makes them more than qualified to introduce you to the joys of ballooning

A hot air balloon flight is a once in a lifetime experience. Bailey Balloons offers you an exhilarating, unique opportunity to see the world from a different perspective. Book a balloon flight with them and you get a lot more than just a balloon ride - you can help them prepare for take-off, find out how the balloon works, enjoy a glass of chilled champagne on touchdown and receive your own special flight certificate.

The personal touch

Bailey Balloons is a family business run by Jo and Clive, who do everything they can to make your flight truly personal. They usually fly in small groups for intimate occasions but can easily cater for larger parties. Although most of their flights take place early evening or dawn, they can also make alternative arrangements if required.

Flight times

The actual hot air balloon ride lasts about one hour, but the whole experience, from setting up the balloon to drinking champagne on landing and returning to the launch site, takes three to four hours. They usually meet one hour after sunrise and three hours before sunset when the winds are calmest, but they will confirm these times when you book your flight.

Flight locations

They have a variety of ballooning locations in South West England and South Wales. You can fly from launch sites in Bristol - the ballooning capital of the world - Bath and various sites in South Wales, over views of some of the most beautiful towns and countryside in Britain.

A flight for special occasions

You should be able to fly on the day you choose, but if the weather’s unsuitable for flying, they might have to reschedule your balloon ride for another date. They fly up to 14 times a week so there are plenty of flights to choose from.

The ballooning experience

First, they meet you at the launch site where you can help them prepare for take-off. During the hot air balloon ride you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the views and take pictures. After landing, you can enjoy a glass of chilled champagne, beer or other cold drink before they take you back to the launch site. If required, they can also arrange a meal as part of the package.

Buying a flight voucher

If you’re buying a balloon ride as a gift, their vouchers are valid for up to 12 months and they can present them in a gift box with a helium-filled balloon. To buy a voucher please call 01275 375300 or visit their website for up to date special offers at www.baileyballoons.co.uk
