I’m feeling a little ashamed of myself, it was only when I came to write up this section of the What’s on site that I realised just how much the South West has to offer, and just how few of those offers I’ve actually taken up. I am officially the biggest potato on the couch!

With that in mind, I’ve made a vow to join you all on a quest to visit as many of the famous historical, cultural, educational and downright fun venues we have listed as I possibly can. From the fun of the beach to the great helicopter museum   you’ll find literally hundreds of great day trips available and many of them in a family-friendly environment.

Visit Weston, Cheddar, Wookey Hole, Axbridge, Brean and nearby Burnham on Sea

its all just a stone’s throw away.

Time to turn off the television and swap the reality show for a reality check.
