Hidcote Manor Gardens

The gardens at Hidcote are one of England’s greats, it was designed and created in the Arts & Crafts style by Major Lawrence Johnston, the horticulturist who owned the place in the early 20th century. The gardens are arranged as a series of rooms, each with a different character and separated by walls and hedges. It is famous for its rare shrubs and trees, outstanding herbaceous borders and unusual plant species from all over the world. The varied styles of the rooms peak at different times of year, making for an interesting visit at any time.
