Situated in the pretty village of Langford on the edge of the Mendips, is the award winning Langford Inn and Restaurant, a traditional country pub offering delicious food and a superb range of wines and real ales.

Walking into The Langford Inn, you will be met by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It still retains many original features including oak beams and displays local memorabilia of interest.

The pub has an impressive range of real ales including the local Butcombe bitter and a menu of fine wines to compliment any meal. The bar and cosy lounge is perfect to relax and enjoy a quiet drink. Food & Drink

Proprietors, Phillip and Claire Howells and the staff members, take pride in providing first class service and serving exceptional home cooked food. In addition to the traditional meals, the menu includes vegetarian dishes, fresh fish and mouth-watering desserts. Specials change daily, in particular with fish, which is delivered fresh each day and availability governs the menu. Favourites with customers include, lobster, crab, trout and mussels.

Ingredients are sourced locally, as much as possible, from farms and farm shops.

The Langford Inn is famous for its roast dinner served on a Sunday and many customers use the location as part of a Sunday walk or drive. It is advisable to reserve a table as it popular!

Adjacent to The Langford Inn, are seven en-suite bedrooms, housed in two converted 17th century barns, featuring exposed beams, original brickwork and Oak floors, but with all the luxury you would expect for modern day living, flat screen TV’s with DVD’s, free WiFi connection, tea & coffee making facilities, three suites one with twin Jacuzzi, and one with shower room able to accommodate disabled guests.

Functions

A large function room is available to hire for private functions and is ideal for business meetings.
