It is precisely because our kids are never any of these things, unless of course they plan a raid on the parental wallet, that we at What’s on have provided parents everywhere with a comprehensive list of options and activities designed to keep the little horrors occupied and entertained while you catch a moment of that most wondrous of pleasures…silence!
Full of great venues and great ideas, from sport to leisure to (cover their eyes and ears) education and specialist day-trips, this is a section that will make their lives more fun and make your life positively bearable.
And with events like horse-riding, bowling, wildlife parks, circuses, mountain-biking to name but a few…you might actually get to like having the kids for the day.
Am I the only one who can’t believe I just said that?
The new multi-million pound Puxton Park farm near Weston-super-Mare is now open and is designed to enable visitors to discover the connection between food, farming and conservation.
The park offers a local and organic food hall, two restaurants, farming demonstrations, wildlife walks and activities for kids and teenagers - all supported by the latest green technology. The site is the brainchild of Somerset farmer Derek Mead.
