Mastermove

Mastermove is a scheme for homebuyers designed to take the hard work out of moving and help you to sell your existing home. We’ll arrange a home sale consultation, select and manage your estate agent, arrange a free valuation and pay your estate agent’s fees.

What is the NHBC?

The National House Building Council is a regulatory body for the new homes industry. Properties with the "buildmark" are checked at various stages of build to ensure all work is up to standard. You will receive an information pack giving you some useful details about how to look after your new home and what to do if things go wrong. The NHBC buildmark offers a 10-year warranty on the structure of your new home. (Please note, some properties may be covered via equivalent warranties).

What is a SAP rating?

A SAP rating is based on an estimate of the annual heating and hot water costs per square metre of the home. The SAP value results from a calculation that estimates how much energy will be used by the home; the more efficient the heating and hot water system and the better the insulation, the higher the SAP value will be. The SAP scale runs from 1 to 120, with most new homes achieving a rating of between 75 and 100, though the national average for all homes is only 43.
