The Langford Inn is an award winning village pub and restaurant situated in Langford just outside Bristol. The traditional country pub offers excellent quality food and a superb range of local cask ales. There is a classic beer garden, which is perfect for the summer months.
Walking into The Langford Inn, you will be met by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It still retains many original features including oak beams and displays local memorabilia of interest.
The pub has an impressive range of real ales including the local Butcombe bitter and a menu of fine wines to compliment any meal.
Proprietors, Phillip and Claire Howells and the staff members, take pride in providing first class service and serving exceptional home cooked food. In addition to the traditional meals, the menu includes vegetarian dishes, fresh fish and mouth-watering desserts. Specials change daily, in particular with fish, which is delivered fresh each day and availability governs the menu. Favourites with customers include, lobster, crab, trout and mussels.
Ingredients are sourced locally, as much as possible, from farms and farm shops.
The tempting desserts are difficult to refuse including Treacle Pudding, Spotted Dick, providing many calories but so good.
Food is served from Monday to Friday from 12noon-9pm and weekends from 12noon-9.30pm. The Langford Inn is famous for its roast dinner served on a Sunday and many customers use the location as part of a Sunday walk or drive. It is advisable to reserve a table as it popular!
A large function room is available to hire for private functions and even includes an 8ft projection screen included.
